Real World Season 32 Episode 10 Review & After Show | AfterBuzz TV – Seattle Videos

Hosts discuss Real World for the episode “Surprise!.”
AFTERBUZZ TV — The Real World: Seattle edition is a weekly “after show” for fans of MTV’s The Real World: Seattle. In this episode Paulina Aguilar, Michael Rippe, and Omari Bailey discuss episode 10.

The Real World (also known as simply Real World) is a reality television program on MTV originally produced by Mary-Ellis Bunim and Jonathan Murray. First broadcast in 1992, the show, which was inspired by the 1973 PBS documentary series An American Family, is the longest-running program in MTV history and one of the longest-running reality series in history, credited with launching the modern reality TV genre.

The series was hailed in its early years for depicting issues of contemporary young-adulthood relevant to its core audience, such assex, prejudice, religion, abortion, illness, sexuality, AIDS, death, politics, and substance abuse, but later garnered a reputation as a showcase for immature and irresponsible behavior.

Following Bunim’s death from breast cancer in 2004, Bunim/Murray Productions continues to produce the program. The 30th season, set in Chicago, premiered on December 16, 2014.

The series has generated two notable spin-offs, both broadcast by MTV: Road Rules, which lasted for 14 seasons (1995–2007), and the ongoing reality game show The Challenge (originally known as Road Rules: All Stars before being renamed Real World/Road Rules Challenge after both its precursors), which has run for over 20 seasons since 1998. The Challenge is mostly cast-contestant dependent on both The Real World and Road Rules, as it combines contestants from various seasons of both shows.

  1. This episode was pretty light for me. Katrina and Anna's problems just seem to damn petty and insignificant. I really feel like Katrina is the overly attached one in the relationship. And it looks like Mike was right about Peter. Dude seems like a controlling partner. Jenn better get outta dodge ASAP.

  2. I've really been digging the panel this season, really hope they do the challenge. I actually stopped watching the show, season didn't draw me in but I love the recap on this aftershow, ya'll are dope.

  3. I was debating watching the show now that's Theo gone but I stuck with it. Listen guys don't ever cut Kassius any slack, he's full of shit, Mike is right. I felt that the sister's issues were like the way sisters and brothers fight with each other, I didn't think it was that serious. I like how Omari was on the girl's side and Paulina was on the guy's side with this Peter and Jenn situation. With Tya, I'm still not over the whole Theo but I'm trying to let it go. I think she had an abortion, she was on one of those aftershows and she definitely didn't look pregnant.

  4. This season was really juvenile and boring.. i like it better when there are just "7 strangers, picked to live in a house" not all of this other boring crap..

  5. Say it ain't so, Omari. I really enjoy your commentary on the panel. You and Candice (idk if that's right) keep it so candid and entertaining. The trio without Paulina (no offense) was amazing thanks to you; you were the glue that kept Mike and Pimp together and made it such a cohesive group. Hope to see you on afterbuzz again, Candice as well.

As for the show, if Jen's privates were really on display then I understand Peter's attitude but if it was just the way that she was dancing that was upsetting him, then that I disagree with. As Omari said, she was with her girls, no men in sight, so no big deal if that's how she chooses to dance. Maybe it's a regional thing, twerking is more the norm in urban places and Jersey is sort of urban. As for Orlana, I understand her sadness, I've been there myself, but watching it unfold made me embarrassed for her and my past self. Just like how a guy shouldn't feel like a girl owes him just because he's nice to her, the same way a girl shouldn't feel entitled to a guy she happens to be nice to. I could understand if he played her but they never even hinted at having mutual feelings, Kass has never returned Orlana's playfulness or got to know her, they always speak about him and his struggles. And poor Tyara, I think it's crazy she's just getting wind of this now but it happens. I'm sorry baby girl, I support any decision you make love. Oh, but side-eye… I think Kim is being honest about the fake accent. In the convo Tyara had with Will and Anika, she didn't sound British at all, and then in her interview all of a sudden it was played up again.

  6. This season was not executed properly like last season. It's boring af even more than the last season. No one really seemed to have any legitimate bad blood except theo and kassius.

  7. This is how I feel & is Anna who said she ain't want to wait for Kat to get ready Mike get it right. Also yall lefted hella stuff out I mean lots of stuff. Yall ain't peep how Anna just did a whole 360 I didn't know she was that b*tchy. She needs to turn it towards Peter he disrespected her too many times & tried to play her. I mean Anna has been so optimistic towards that situation. They need to fix that situation quick blockin each others numbers it's not that serious if yall that close. Now Theo & kass situation yeah they were once close but kass then made Theo out to be a fool, he gave him too many chances. I also peeped how Orlana was being dumb if kass want to act too cool for schl let him u know ur worth. U shouldn't change for no one who willing to change for u or recognize what kind of person u are. She is too sweet & pretty for him that girl he was dancing wit was basic & he talk bout Mike dancing wit that big girl. At least Mike wasn't tryna be a cool dude like him which was hella whack. Peter was is a dumb a** & play victim so much but acts like a duchebag why u so pressed at her havin fun. Jenn didn't even do nothin but was just doin her girls dance on each other the time all said some facts he want to take advantage of her. He knows what he doing makin her feel bad then she can't say nothin cause he makes up a lame excuse sorry ur too insecure. Also Tya u good girl sh*t happens u handle it the best way no one should be in ur business & u knew who it was luv u!!!????

  8. Ugh, Omari is so creepy borderline disgusting

  9. I love the dynamic between mike and Omari, but Paulina is annoying she needs to lighten up a little #bringpimpback
