  1. I agree with cc everybody wanna blame Kirk cousins but the defense been terrible and they can’t run the ball

  2. As a Vikings fan, I love Cris Carter. He's a great legend in Vikings lore. But I think he's way off.

First off, has the defense not lived up to its potential? No. It's not the #1 defense from last year. But this SAME DEFENSE held Seattle to not 14, not 7, not 6, but 3 POINTS going into the 4th quarter. AND They got an interception.

Also, you said they don't utilize Rudolph. I can assure you he's been open many times, but Cousins won't throw to him. It's always either Thielen or Diggs.

And then you blame the O-Line. "They blocked better for Keenum last year than they are doing for Cousins." Maybe I'm watching different games, but I've seen Keenum scramble a lot. Cousins just sits in the pocket and takes the sacks.

I just don't get how if you are good in basic stats (yards, TDs, INTs) you are a great QB, but no one acknowledges his 4-24 record against winning teams. The guy is an above average QB at best! He's not clutch! People act like Keenum is Peterman or something! I don't get it!

  3. Defense trash cc?? They still top 5 and held russ under 80 yards passing lol

  4. Bout time somebody said it. O-line being trash and defense stumbling out of the gates put the team behind the 8 ball

  5. CC is back on that stuff again

  6. CC is being the company man. He's still very connected to that organization so of course he's going to find every excuse in the book to defend their $84 million investment. Imagine if CC said the reason why Vikes stink is Cousin. The whole fan base would stage a revolt and the GM who signed him to that absurd contract would have his house egged.

  7. What are you talkin about they don't run the ball? Our offensive line is atrocious, we can't run the ball!

  8. Said it when they signed him. That o-line was always going to be awful, they didn't do enough to address it, and Cousins is not the type of QB (style wise) who can effectively negate that to any significant degree. There are only 4 QBs currently starting who have faced a higher % of pressure on their dropbacks than Cousins – Allen, Watson, Kessler & Rosen. And one of those (Kessler) is driven by time to throw.

Clearly, there were scheme/playcalling issues yesterday also – the over-reliance in the early part of the season on just putting balls in the area of Thielen/Diggs and letting them make plays is being countered, and the Vikings aren't adjusting well enough.

  10. Kirk Cousins Can't scramble &/or improvise at all!!!
He looks/plays like he's scared & a deer in headlights.

Keenum is way better at those things & plays with a hunger!
It doesn't look like Cousins has that same fire to compete/win!!

Can't really argue with the neg stats of Cousins.

  13. I think cc talks rubbish sometimes, when the quarterbacks win they get all the glory, even if it’s someone else that saved the day for them. But when they lose it’s someone else’s fault! No you’ve got to get blamed as well. And in cousins case being paid a heck of a lot of money, he has to take some of the blame. After all according to a lot of these so called experts, he was the missing piece that the vikings needed to get to the next level. Well they’ve gone backwards after finishing 13 and 3 last season with keenum.

  16. I told people (and Youtube) this while he was still with DC! DC did not want him because they had been burned by so many QB promises that they needed to see a closer, not a guy simply trying to get a starting job and get paid. Sadly, MN made the wrong gamble and now they have the guy who got paid, but who cannot get it done. At least RGIII looked good with his couple of passes!

  21. The first cold game of the year is bad for everyone but Seattle can win in the cold. Russell is a cold-weather QB. They should just shut down Baldwin for the last three games to get him healthy for the playoffs.

  22. Cris Carter I don’t know what you’re watching. Cousins caves and gets a turnover whenever he’s rushed. He doesn’t feel the rush coming. Case could make a play when it mattered. Ask Denver!

  23. Captain Kirk is ridiculously overpaid and is a below average backup QB at best. And everyone knows it except the moronic idiots who signed him.

  26. The Minnesota Miracle 2.0 happened last night! The fact that they were even in that game in the 4th quarter is astonishing. And yet still, because their 84 million dollar QB couldn't hit the side of a barn, they got embarrassed. Went off on Minnesota AND Seattle on my show today.

  32. Seahawk way to the playoff is to stay off the BEARs and freezing stadium:
    1. Better fight against Dallas inside the DOM, warm and cozy,
    2. Then challenge your nemesis once again, Ram. This time you see the blue-print to beat Ram and need to do the same
    3. Then beat Saints inside their DOM, warm and cozy.
    4. Beat anybody that come out from another side.

  33. Forget about individual numbers and how many rushes…there is only on stat that matters…its called win/loss and the $84 for 3 years guaranteed quarterback is always going to be judged on that as he should. Cousins ….career 4 and 24 against 500 or better teams. 0 and 5 against winning teams this year.. QB's numbers can get artificially inflated when you are in a game you are behind or behind by more then 2 scores…the other team is giving up yardage in a way to burn up the clock..just not quick tds.
