Back at it again this week, and we saw a sharp increase in the number of new listings across all property types in Seattle. Also notable is that we, for the first time, are seeing almost identical number of new listings both this year and last year.
As you may remember, June of 2018 was when the real estate market started it’s swift and dramatic shift. That shift was driven by a surge in the number of available new listings. The next few months will be really interesting… Will we see the same trends in new listings and pendings as we did last year? Will we have even more inventory and less sales? Only time will tell, and you better believe I will be here each week with the newest update.
